Course Description

REFLEXOLOGY Level 1 MASSAGE

Students will learn the history of Reflexology, learn the healing methods which involve pressure and massage of the reflex points found on the hand and feet. Students will be taught that a vital energy circulates between the organs and permeating every living cell and tissue and how they correlate to the hands and feet Pressure Points. Students will learn health issues that are relieved by Reflexology, massage techniques, set up of room, hygienic clean up and step by step hand and foot treatment. Students learn the longitudinal and transverse zones and be made be aware of the importance of knowing, recognizing contraindications, skin disorders and the possibility of requiring a doctor’s permit before treatment. 2/3rds of the class is hands-on proper technique training.
