DEEP TISSUE  MASSAGE – Deep Tissue Massage or myofascial release is a massage technique that focuses on restriction in the deeper layers of the muscles, tendons and ligaments.  You will learn both corrective therapeutic techniques using two methods.  Direct or indirect and their effectiveness in releasing deeply-held patterns of tension, removing toxins, relaxing and soothing muscles  Students will also learn the importance of correct body mechanics, balancing leg lengths and recognizing contraindications, skin disorders and the possibility of client requiring a doctor’s permit prior to treatment. 2/3rds of the class is hands-on proper technique training.
